Procedure goal
A treatment method that involves application of a special elastic patch (kinesio-tape) on the injured parts of the body. Kinesio tape improves blood circulation, reduces pain, and promotes intensive healing of injuries.
For the correct use of kinesio-tape, the doctor first tests the patient's muscle tone or conducts a manual muscle testing. This is an important diagnostic procedure in applied kinesiology that allows to choose the most appropriate treatment regimen. The effectiveness of this technique is based on the ability of a specialist to determine feedback from various parts of the patient's body. Functional weakness of individual muscles of the body or entire groups suggests that the patient suffers from functional disorders of certain organs and systems of the body.
