Post-COVID 19 recovery
(Pulmonary Rehabilitation)
This medical rehabilitation program is designed for people who have suffered from acute respiratory viral infections and/or pneumonia.Our Clinic employs one-of-a-kind equipment using therapeutic gas mixtures (heliox therapy). These techniques present training of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems—allowing you to manage different levels of regulation of vital body functions. Our heliox therapy can improve the condition of patients with bronchial asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and upper airway obstruction.
During the program, we identify, treat, and prevent early and/or delayed complications and consequences in the respiratory system, blood vessels, heart, kidneys, immune system, as well as the digestive and nervous systems.
Drawn up to affect all links of the pathogenesis of this infection, the program is aimed at:
- correcting hypoxic disorders (oxygen deficiency in organs and tissues) ;
- restoring the impaired immunity;
- protecting the blood vessels and capillaries;
- protecting all organs that have been exposed to toxic impact of the virus (heart, kidneys, blood vessels, brain, liver, and intestines).
Program goals and objectives:
- Restoring the lung function: increasing vital capacity and respiratory functions, ensuring evacuation of sputum from the bronchopulmonary system, training the respiratory muscles, affecting sclerotic changes in the lung tissue.- Increasing blood oxygen saturation and combating hypoxia (oxygen deprivation).
- Strengthening the immune defense.
- Improving the state of blood vessels and capillaries.
- Protecting the most vulnerable organs and tissues from possible complications.
- Restoring muscle strength and increasing tolerance to physical exertion.
-Correcting the psycho-emotional state, preventing depression and other neuropsychiatric diseases.
