Procedure goal
The Pixel is much faster than other CO2 lasers with proven clinical results due to its high energy content per pixel. Absolute safety. Ablation can be performed at different depths with high precision and unparalleled control, maximizing treatment efficiency and minimizing tissue damage. Adjustable parameters including trigger distance, energy, and pulse duration. The Pixel CO2 system is equipped with advanced computerized high-precision laser technology. The laser beam penetrates the skin deep into the dermis, with a wavelength of 10.6 microns; creating ablative microthermal zones and producing controlled heating of the tissues around them. Laser energy enters the target tissues through a holographic lens that divides the beam into 7, 49 or 81 microscopic beams or pixels in various ablation patterns. The CO2 roller works by means of two wheels that slide over the skin, producing a laser impulse that is directed in a horizontal line of seven evenly spaced laser spots. By rotating the wheels, the laser creates a symmetrical trail of high thermal fractional ablation, regardless of the processing speed.
A specialist consult is required before the procedure. The area of correction, problem severity, and choice of the operating parameters of the laser are assessed and defined. The patient is made aware of possible contraindications and side effects. If necessary, local anesthesia is applied.
Facial treatment takes only 5-7 minutes. The recovery period is only 3-5 days—unlike other technologies where recovery takes 3-4 weeks. A significantly reduced impulse duration leads to shorted recovery period. It reaches the reticular dermis, guaranteeing a lifting effect. The procedure does not take too long. Absolute safety.
How long does the rehabilitation period last?
The recovery period is 5-7 days. The duration depends on the selected mode of laser exposure and the individual characteristics of the patient. During this period, it is important to follow the doctor's recommendations:
- 1-3 days after the procedure: do not wash, apply a special gel to the skin, wipe the skin with antiseptic solutions;
- 2 weeks after the procedure: do not use coarse scrubs, avoid exposure to UV rays;
- 3 months after the procedure: use sunscreens with a high PH level (at least 30).
