Procedure goal
Audiovisual stimulation is a method of stimulating sensory analyzers (visual and auditory), with the help of which the level of activation of the cerebral cortex is changed through the modulating systems of the brain responsible for the psychophysical state.
A natural example of such a modulating effect is when a person focuses on the glare of a campfire flame (visual stimulation) or the noise of the surf (sound stimulation). The spectral composition of these influences is similar to the rhythm of the brain in a calm, relaxed state.
Not only do regular exercises develop physical parameters, but they also contribute to the development of cognitive functions (memory, attention, ability to switch, reaction speed); they help fight stress and enhance the body's adaptive capabilities.
In terms of appearance, the device is a pair of headphones and glasses connected to a special apparatus. During the procedure, the patient perceives a pulsating sound and flickering light. These sound and light stimuli are collected in programs of different effects: “gate of calm”, “stress killer”, “alpha zone”, “deep sleep”, “OM meditation”, “fast recovery." In total, there are over 100 programs.
