Procedure goal
Who is a mind therapist?
A mind therapist is a doctor who is trained in psychotherapy or neurology and neurophysiology. They know how what underlies mental disorders, chronic fatigue, emotional burnout, and other conditions. A mind therapist knows the dynamics of changes in the brain with age and knows ways to stop age-related changes; help your mind stay young longer.
The doctor will carry out a Qik test—i.e., a neurophysiological examination of cognitive functions. This is a computerized visual version of the MOXO or CPT-MOXO test (Continuous Performance Test or VCPT) designed to assess attention level, attention span, and impulse control.
The mind therapist discusses the patient's expectations and needs, suggests treatment options, and outlines recovery therapy. After that, they monitor the patient's status and tolerance to the procedures.
